Physical Test:
Age: 17 to 35
years
1. Height - 167 cms.
2. Chest -
(i) Minimum
expanded chest should be 75 cms.
(ii) Minimum
range of expansion 5 cm.
3. Vision - At
least 6 / 12 in each eye with glasses or 6 / 6 in one eye and 6/36 in other eye
with glasses.
4. Generally free
from all communicable diseases

Medical Examination:
. After
you have successfully cleared interview, you will be sent for a medical
examination, which shall be conducted by a Medical Officer of the Armed Forces.
(When you report for the medical exam, you must ensure a high level of personal
hygiene and bring the latest prescription and spectacles for corrected vision
to avoid delay.) After the medical examination, you are either declared 'Fit'
or 'Unfit' or 'Temporarily Medically Unfit' (TMU)
